Mahoning Valley residents and workers will have an opportunity to earn college credits and degrees from the new Eastern Gateway Community College.

In addition to offering programs, the college will borrow programs from existing community colleges and delivered through distance learning, online course offerings, and in traditional classrooms at partner schools. Partners include the adult education divisions of existing career centers in the Valley (Trumbull CTC, Mahoning CCTC, Columbiana CCTC, and Choffin Career and Technical Center). The goal of program sharing is to reduce time, cost, and geographic distance in the delivery of community college programs and make them more accessible to the Valley.
